Pizzeria Piccola in Meinerzhagen

One of the best pizzas in the area, unfortunately the restaurant no longer has the old charm.

Pizza was very mushy in the middle and the edge very dark. The baked pasta with tomato sauce was watery. No other guests, no music ... there was a deadly silence - very uncomfortable. Service was friendly and tried hard.

Small pizza too small, that is already mini. The big one is ridiculous. Under large, I understand that the pizza is really big, so at least as big as the plate. Here the pizza was smaller than the plate. Now you can imagine how small the little one must have been. The taste was okay, but nothing special. Plate of spaghetti Aglio e Olio swam in oil. Lasagna was a pretty small portion. Salad Italia as well. All in all, too high prices for very small portions. I vowed never to go back the first time, shortly after the opening. Now in May 2019 I made another attempt and I notice that nothing has changed.

They suggested this pizzeria restaurant with typical Italian cuisine. I was curious to see and savor, so I booked. Arrived on the spot I immediately noticed the harmony of the furniture. Polite and professional staff, courteous and elegant, excellent quality of food. Typical Italian dishes cooked, in my opinion, artfully. Each dish well presented, perfectly taken care of, a pleasure for eyes and palate. A place to recommend and where I will definitely return as soon as I make another trip to Germany. AB
